Hotel Route-Inn Yuki

We stayed here previously in 2018 so we knew what to expect. This is about the closest accommodation we can find to get to Motegi for the MotoGP. The rooms are very small and the bed is hard and the pillows are hard and uncomfortable, but we already knew this from our last visit. The staff are very nice and as helpful as they can be without knowing how to speak English (we can't speak Japanese & they can't speak English) but we knew this too. The rooms may be very small, but they are kept very clean. There is a free carpark and they have a separate men's & womans public bathhouse if that's your thing. This is basically a working men's accommodation, women can stay here, but there are not many. Breakfast is very Japanese style. On our first visit to Yuki, we found this amazing bar/restaurant just a few hundred metres up the road called Lotus, very traditional Japanese, but very friendly, cozy and delicious food. If we came back, we would stay here again because we know what it is all about and what to expect and there is nothing better in the area.

Clean and have a good breakfast spread, simple just local. Good location. Easy find foods within walking distance
